Friday October 11, 2024 10:00am - 10:50am PDT
This session will present the structure and impact of our ongoing wellness collaboration between the EOU Lab for Exercise Assessment and Performance and the La Grande OR School District. This collaboration offers LGSD Teachers and Staff access to lab based wellness testing including metabolic rate, physiologic stress analysis, exercise efficiency, and blood pressure. This provides participants with individualized information for increased understanding of aspects of health and an information for following changes. Additionally, we offer Nutrition Q and A sessions to teachers, healthy cooking classes, and produce a wellness podcast to address questions and topics teachers are interested in.
