**NEW** SB 3: Personal Finance and Career Pathway standards for the Oregon high school diploma requirements will be released this spring. Standards creation committees have been working the last few months to develop standards. Each group had expert representation from around the state, including practicing educators. Standards will be shared soon for a final round of review and feedback.
Does your school need support with implementation of SB 3? We will explore the requirements, review the standards, and share resources. This workshop is open to all teachers and administrators who are interested in learning more about SB 3 and would like support in planning what these courses could look like at your high school.
IMESD VLA staff will be on hand to help with program access, log in support, platform data processes, Synergy Support and more. Are you a district staff member that needs help viewing student data? Liaisons wanting access to connect and communicate with students through Rooms? Come on by! We will have our staff on hand to help with all of your Access points, and needs with the VLA! (Rooms, Schools PLP, Google Classroom, ParentVue Access, General program information and more!)
Through pandemic learning, and even before, there have been lots of discussions about what equitable grading practices are, should be, or ought to be. This session takes a look at the journey that McLoughlin High School has, and is continuing to take, to tackle equitable grading practices. This includes some big wins, roadblocks, and our continued practices.
We will discuss the process to establish grading for equity and share our process and documents you can use.
